Mindfulness: Delivered weekly for People with Parkinson’s and their carers on Wednesdays at 13:15 online - works well remotely as you are in the peace and quiet of your own home without any disturbance. Loud & Clear: 'Speech’ sessions are currently running via Zoom monthly on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 10am. Recently piloted to allow individuals to engage in informal conversation while implementing the techniques and strategies of the Loud & Clear approach.These sessions are currently running monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 10am. Tai Chi Classes Parkinson’s UK recommends Tai Chi for People with Parkinson’s. . Sue Woodd is an experienced Tai Chi instructor and runs a class in Popley Fields Community Centre, Carpenters Down, Basingstoke RG24 9AE, weekly on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 11 am. Some of the class members take part whilst sitting on chairs so if your balance is dodgy this may be the way you wish to start!
