Driving Service 01256 423855 Helping older people to get to Hospital and other medical appointments, Shopping, and social and exercise clubs. Drivers will wait for clients and them take them home. Volunteers use their own vehciles and claim mileage. There is a suggested donation for the trip. Drivers are DBS checked. Gardening Services or Handyman Services 01256 423857 Throughout the growning season the gardeners provide weeding, lawn mowing, pruning, small hedge cutting and leaf cleaning. The Handyperson service is for small DIY jobs like changing light bulbs, putting up pictures, taps, toilet seats and powerwashing,
Old or young, clients who live in the Basingstoke & Deane area can register for our services if they have a genuine need for them. This may be because they are unable to use normal public transport or taxi service by reason of age, ill health or disability; or they need assistance with shopping or gardening for example.
Helplines are open Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.with an answer-phone service outside of these hours. We will then try to match your request to our team of volunteers when we return your call.

Great Oaks Lunch Club - Winklebury The Great Oaks Lunch club meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month. Kingfisher Day Centre Laverstoke Provides a variety of group and individual activities as well as personal care for older people (including those who are lonely and those with dementia). Their services are provided in designated premises in Laverstoke and they have a specially converted minibus that is able to provide transport to the centre.
